SOC 949 Course Logbook

The University is now recommending that course participants “go paperless” and use the digital version of the course logbook. If you elect to use the digital version of the logbook you will send it to the instructor as an email attachment upon completion of the course.

Using the digital logbook will eliminate the need to mail any documents back to the instructor upon completion of the course and will expedite processing of your grade. You can download a copy of the logbook using the links below.

If you would rather not use the digital version of the logbook, you will also be able to download and print a copy of the logbook using the links below.

If you use the printed logbook, you will need to mail the completed logbook back to the instructor upon completion of the course. Using this option will add several days to the grade processing process. A self-addressed envelope has been included in your course materials packet for this purpose. You will need to affix sufficient postage before mailing.

The course logbook that you will use to record your observations and comments as well as assignment completion dates is available in several formats.

Hint: Try opening both documents and use the one that displays best on your computer. The .doc formatted logbook will require the Microsoft Word word processor software. The .rtf formatted logbook should open in any other word processor software.
