Reflection # 4r1: History/ Social Science Educator Support Sites Undoubtedly, you found dozens of useful web resources in those last two explorations. Select one from each exploration and write a brief review of the site. You will send these assignments directly to me via e-mail. Please use my regular e-mail address with the following subject line:
Please include the following: ***** begin copy here *****
Name: Date: Site Title: Site URL: http:// Site Features:
Tell how you could integrate this site into your History/Social Science Curriculum:
***** end copy here *****
Hint: You should be able to copy and paste the prompts from this webpage into the body of an e-mail message addressed to me. Please include the words "Module 4 Site 1 or 2 Review" in the title of the e-mail message. Bonus Assignment You are also invited to share other relevant sites that are not currently in the exploration lists. You can share these recommendations using the web discussion board. Click on the discussion board link in the navigation bar above and open the course web discussion board. Navigate to Module 4 where you will find a Educator Resource Sites and Lesson Plans discussion thread. Click to open each message thread. Review the sites that have been shared by your colleagues. Post your recommendations in the Add Your Message box at the bottom of each page. Hint: If you include the full web address beginning with http:// , the web board software will create a clickable link to the site you are recommending. Reminders: You will need to enter your Username and Password to post the message. Posting a message on the web board is always a two step process. Simply clicking the first Preview/Post Message button does not "publish" the message. The message will not appear on the web board until you click the Post this Message button after previewing your message. You may need to click the Refresh/Reload button on your web browser to see recently published messages.
