Grades 2-3

Students in these grade levels are not being introduced to online search tools. We use teacher-selected sites which are accessible on the Student Resource Page.

Grades 4-5

After instruction in online safety, information literacy and critical evaluation skills, fourth and fifth grade students are introduced to filtered search tools. We also use use teacher-selected sites which are accessible on the Student Resource Page.

Grade 6

After instruction in online safety, information literacy and critical evaluation skills, sixth graders are introduced to online search tools which feature search preferences and/or filtered/reviewed content. Students are closely supervised by a classroom or lab teacher when searching the web. In addition, we use teacher-selected sites which are accessible on the Student Resource Page.
