The BUBL Link Web Directory offers "selected internet resources covering all academic subject areas". BUBL was developed and is maintained by a consortium of British Universities and Libraries. BUBL offers multiple avenues to access its web directory including categorical listings, an alphabetical index, a Dewey Decimal Interface and even a delightful random link option.

Click on Social Sciences and Geography and History categories select appropriate subcategories. Be sure to give the other access options a try. Just click on one of the links near the top of the page. You will also want to enter your research topic keywords and phrases in the search box to see what turns up.
