Online Research Project

Now it's your turn... Using the specific History/Social Science Standard that you selected in Module 3, return to each of the search tools that you visited in the explorations for this module and search for additional web resources related to the standard that you selected.

Your goal is to find fifteen or more web sites directly related to your standard. You will add each of these sites to your bookmarks /favorites and will submit them as Project 1 in the next module of the course.

Suggestion: Create a new folder named Research in your bookmarks/favorites before beginning this activity. As you find appropriate sites, save them directly to this folder. Consult your web browser's Help files for specific information on how to create a new folder and how to save or move bookmarks/favorites into this folder.

Note to AOL Users: The current AOL web browsers do not support the exporting of Favorites in a format that can be used by non-AOL users. It will be possible to copy and paste your AOL Favorites into a text editor or word processor document, but if you have access to Internet Explorer or Netscape on your computer, using these browsers will make completing the follow-up project much easier.

Click on search tools link in the menu bar above to begin your research.

When you complete your research, please share your reflections with me.
