Changing the
web browser homepage
You may find it helpful to change your web browser's default homepage to the TEC 912 course website for the duration of the course. This will save you the trouble of having to type in the URL each time you want to access the course website.
The procedure for changing the web browser's homepage varies from one browser to the next. Consult your web browser's help files for specific instructions on how to change your homepage.
You can also try a little shortcut that works on most recent web browsers.
Navigate to the course homepage at:
http://www.cotwcourses.net/tec912/
With the TEC 912 course homepage visible on the screen, click and hold on the little icon on the left side of the location bar. Drag this icon to the Home icon on your web browser's toolbar. A dialog box will appear asking if you want to change the homepage. Click Yes.
If you are not comfortable with changing your homepage, you can create a desktop shortcut. Again, click and hold the little icon in the location box and drag it to your desktop. A shortcut will be created. See your web browser's Help files for more information.
Or, if you prefer, you can just add the course homepage to your Bookmarks/Favorites.
