Exploration #7e3: Maps and Atlases Maps and Atlases are an inportant part of the elementary classroom. The sites below will provide you with quick access to thousands of maps. Many of the sites allow you to create customized maps which can be printed for student use. Each site is different so again, you will need to scan the site to find that sections most useful to you. Be sure to add the best of these sites to your Favorites/Bookmarks so you can quickly find them again.
Record your general observations on these Web Reference sites in your logbook. Make note of the sites you will be most likely to use in future. If you
are aware of other similar Web Reference Sites that were not included
in the list, you are invited to add them to the Module
7: Web Reference Sites section on the course web discussion
board. Proceed to More Web Reference Resources
