Exploration #7e1: Educator Web Reference Resources

The web reference resource sites in this first collection weren't really designed for younger students. You will find them useful as a teacher resource. However, you may also find that several of the sites are appropriate for advanced primary students and/or upper elementary students.

Each of the sites is different and all contain links to dozens and dozens of reference resources. You could spend days exploring these sites but that is not our objective. I'd suggest that you scan the sites looking for resources that could be useful in your classroom.

Hint: I'd suggest that you create a new folder in your Favorites/Bookmarks and that you add the sites and resources that you want to use again to this folder.

Record your general observations on these Web Reference sites in your logbook. Make note of the sites you will be most likely to use in future.

If you are aware of other similar Web Reference Sites that were not included in the list, you are invited to add them to the Module 7: Web Reference Sites section on the course web discussion board.
