Refining Your Search Skills (Bonus Activity)

Web Searching is an acquired skill.  In many cases a simple web search using the resources you have explored in this module will find more than enough information to satisfy most users. However with topics that really matter, a more specific advanced search will produce even more relevant results.

If you are interested in honing your web search skills, examine the Help files located on the search tools that you regularly use. The help files will give you specific hints on how to tailor your search query to best use the strengths of the search tool.

The links below offer further suggestions for refining your search skills and are well worth a closer look.
