Objectives: *Students will learn about battles of the Revolutionary War

*Students will learn about important people during the Revolutionary War

*Students will learn about important documents and historic sites of the

Revolutionary War

After a lesson about the Revolutionary War, Students will be broken into groups of 3. Each person in the group will be assigned a specific task so everyone participates in this activity. They will choose the battle, person, document, or historic site to research for their presentation. In addition to important information the students find about their topic, they must also include dates and how their person, event, site, or document impacted this war. After 3 days of research and preparation, students will present their information to the class. The presentation must be at least 15 minutes long, and they will hand in their information in essay form.

*report – at least 3 paragraphs, I will use the Pennsylvania State writing rubric to grade
