Note: Assignments can be submitted directly to the instructor as e-mail messages or posted to the web discussion board.

Include specific instructions for the first several assignments to insure that course participants understand the process. You can copy and paste these instructions to other assignment pages.

 

E-mail assignment instructions:

This assignment will be submitted as an e-mail message.

Please use this format:

To: instructor e-mail address
Subject: Module 2 Assignment 1

 

Web discussion board instructions:

This assignment will be posted to the web discussion board.

  1. Click on the web discussion board link in the navigation bar above to open the course web discussion board in a new window.
  2. Click on the Module 2 section on the web discussion board. Scroll down the page until you see the Add a Message box.
  3. Click once inside the Add a Message box and begin typing (or copy and paste text that you have created using your text editor). The text that you type or copy should appear in the text box.
  4. Enter your full name in the Username box
  5. Leave the Password box empty
  6. Enter your e-mail address in the E-Mail box

    Note: Contrary to what the on-screen note next to the box says, your e-mail address is required. This will allow the instructor and other course participants to respond to your web board postings.

  7. Click on the Preview/Post Message button. Review what you have posted, making changes if necessary. Click on the Post this Message button to save your posting to the web discussion board.

    Important Note: Posting a message to the web discussion board is a two step process. If you do not click on the Post this Message button after previewing your message, the message will be lost.
